When it came to decorating Project Parade I wanted to create a space that is open and airy yet comfortable and relaxing for a young family. I also wanted each space to be cohesive and functional. When working with a new build and a completely blank slate choosing a neutral palate right from the beginning was something I knew I wanted. This allowed me to make some bolder choices for things like the fireplace tile and office wall paint colour. Blending texture and different elements of nature creates an earthy warmth without being too traditional. Designing a rich black staircase with our team of builders, pairs perfectly with iron accents and black window treatments for a more Scandinavian vibe.
